Boy's Love (BL)/yaoi is a subgenre of Asian animation, film, art, or literature that explores LGBT+ (usually gay male) stories and romance.

The Show:
We are watching Cherry Magic (2024, Satelight), an anime adaptation of the manga by the same name. The show is extremely fluffy and cute, and a little whimsical. It plays with the superstition that a man who turns 30 while still a virgin becomes a "wizard" with magical powers. Our protagonist is one such male and discovers that a little bit of magic can change a lot. You truly don't know what others are thinking... until you do!
