Step into a scene straight out of mid-century Americana, where fashion meets nostalgia in the most cinematic way. This unique shoot will be set against the vibrant backdrop of the Petroliana Museum, home to an impressive collection of vintage gas pumps, retro road signs, classic cars, and auto memorabilia—think bold reds, rustic metals, and that gritty Route 66 charm.
What to Expect:

• Styled models in modern denim looks and fitted fashion pieces, bringing a Guess campaign energy to a throwback setting
• Golden hour lighting to enhance that warm, nostalgic glow
• Plenty of space to get creative angles with signage, cars, gas pumps, and layered textures
• 📸 Bring your own gear and lenses—vintage details are everywhere!

photographers who RSVP will just need to show up by 5:30 pm ready to shoot! I have planned everything for you! The models, makeup artists, and wardrobe! You may bring your lights if you would like.

While this shoot is for portfolio building and not a workshop learning experience, I will be there if you have any questions, or you can learn from your fellow photographers by watching them!

• TAGGING: Please tag all people involved in the photos on any social media! After the shoot I will update the info in the comment section with who did whos makeup and hair so that will make it easier for you to tag everyone! Please remember to tag the model, makeup artist, hair stylist, and @slcfashionphotoshoots
• Your collaborators will be able to use your photos for their own purposes, whether posting on their website or building their modeling portfolio and for social media

ADDITIONAL INFO*

-Please provide your own model releases if you must have them. Models have the right to refuse to sign anything.

• This Meetup does not do groups/rotations! I do not like to tell the photographers who they have to shoot with. You are free to shoot with anyone. You do not have to shoot the models you do not want to shoot.

-Please be friendly and courteous! While there will most likely be enough models to do one on ones just also expect to shoot the models with multiple photographers at once

• Do not touch the models before asking. No grabbing them or placing them where you want them. Ask them if it is ok to place them where you want them before doing so.

REFUND POLICY: Meetups are like Concerts. If you need to cancel you can sell your spot or give it away but there are no refunds. You can try to find people on the waitlist in the comments.
