Chatting in 2026 at Woodbine Food Hall
Details
Hallo alles!
I hope everyone is doing well in the new year. I just noticed that January is almost over, so it's time to start scheduling the regular meetings every two weeks again. I haven't found any potentially good new spots yet. I'm always open to suggestions. To make it easy, I'm thinking Woodbine Food Hall should be nice.
If you're not familiar, Woodbine is a long narrow building with small food restaurants on each side. It's kind of like a testing area where new restaurants can refine their menu and business routines before moving into a larger space. The benefit is that there are several tasty options to try out each time. There is no obligation to buy anything and there are no waiters who want to get another party seated in your spot. It's quite casual
To get to Woodbine: If you're driving on I-15. Take the 600 South exit, then turn right at the first intersection (400 West), then right again at the next intersection (700 South), and it will be on your left in about 1 and 1/2 blocks. Parking is free and usually abundant in the area after 5:00.
Anyone with any level of fluency is welcome to attend. There is no agenda or start time, so arrive whenever you can. Guests are also welcome. It's open to anyone, but speaking in German as much as possible is encouraged. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or post a comment below.
Bis dann!
