Silver Lake Trail

Silver Lake Trail near Alpine is a beautiful moderate hike in Lone Peak Wilderness, and about 4.5 miles (about 2.2 miles if you ignore the downhill), with 1400 feet elevation gain. The drive to the trail head itself is serene - passes through the forest, scenic, fun and with an off-road piece to it. You can take a dip in the lake!

Depending on the participants, plan is to carpool from Salt Lake or from any other locations down south, drive up to the trail head, hike at own pace, once we reach the lake, take a break and chill for sometime, and then head back. We can grab lunch on our way back, near Lehi or so. Don't forget to have breakfast and head out :)

Suggested to bring water and some snacks for yourself. Any kind of shoes would do - running, tennis or sport shoes etc.
