Holding Space and Active Listening (free workshop)

Details
What if listening with presence could change your relationships—and your own sense of peace?
This Sunday, May 18, I'm going to run a breakout group on Holding Space and Active Listening. In this experiential workshop, we'll discuss what "holding space" really means and practice the art of active listening in a way that fosters deeper connection, trust, and compassion. We’ll explore why this kind of listening matters, how to offer it skillfully, and learn simple tools you can bring into everyday conversations.
This is happening at The Divine Assembly's regular Sunday gathering at Wallaroo’s Furniture on 389 W 1830 South.
I feel the need to clarify this isn't an attempt to proselytize. I've had this scheduled for a while and realized it would be an easy way for people to meet in person and see what I'm about. It's a really low-key situation with few expectations and lots of freedom to come and go. You do not need to be a member of the church to attend. If you have questions about what to expect, feel free to post or DM those.
