Efficiency and Parallel Programming in R

Our next Meetup will be at the University of Utah in Research Park(295 Chipeta Way).
This presentation by Andrew Redd will focus on how to write efficient R code using parallel programming. This will be a joint meeting with the Study Design and Biostatistics Center at the U. Andrew is an assistant professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
The meeting will be live streamed on YouTube on the Utah R Users Group channel (https://youtube.com/slc-rug).
Free parking is available on the first floor of the parking garage; just sign the parking book at the reception desk. There is construction for a new building where our visitor lot used to be so our regular drive may be congested. There is a picture attached to this event explaining how to avoid the construction.
Light refreshments will be provided. The Williams Building Cafe is next to where we will be meeting for those desiring a full lunch.
