The Taylorsville Historic Preservation Committee is sponsoring its third annual Fall Festival with games, pumpkin-decorating and pie-eating contests, quilt display and giveaway, committee booths and photo-opportunity areas. It's a free event!

The Fall Festival is planned for Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Taylorsville-Bennion Heritage Center, 1488 W. 4800 South.

This year’s quilt show will follow the theme “Down on the Farm.”

A display of other handmade items also is planned, such as knitting, crocheting and needle work. If you are interested in displaying your handiwork, please contact Joan White at 801-608-1644. And remember, anyone who helps tie the quilt that Joan made for the event will be placed in a drawing to win that quilt!

The festival will also include live music by the band Crossfire and a visit from the 2025 Days of ’47 Royalty.
