Have just confirmed, 2 of Utah's best wheelchair athletes will attend!
They are coming to win, so bring your A-game or you might go out early!
Even if you're not playing, please come at 1pm to watch the action between the wheelchair and Meetup players. Kids and families welcome.
**Can all the Meetup members please watch the two wheelchair tennis videos before arriving for the matches? We welcome and encourage your comments on what you see.

All the rules are the same (serves, line calls, etc.) except the Wheelin' players get two bounces to hit the ball.
When an able-body player plays against a Wheelin' player, this is known as an "Up/Down match."

All three groups came together financially & time wise to get us reduced indoor court time, new balls, prizes & turned a cold, wet Fall-stralian Open, into a dry one!
Food & Fun from 12-1:15pm and Matches at 1:30pm.

Unless a "dingo's got your baby," come out and play in the 1st-ever 'Fall'stralian Open the weekend before Thanksgiving. (Since the Australian Open is in February and weather in Utah isn't so great then, November will have to work. Cross your fingers the weather stays good.)
2014 Meetup Major Slam Titles:
French Toast Open: We and Kelsey were finalists, w/We prevailing in 3 sets.
Wimbledon Weenie Roast: We & Todd as finalists, w/Todd winning in 3 sets.
US Meetup Open: cancelled because of Labor Day conflicts =(
