Description:
Join us for one final hike in the glorious, green(ish) East Bay before the sun turns everything brown (aka “Golden California” chic). It’s your last chance to catch those California poppies showing off and any other wildflowers that haven’t called it quits yet.
Let’s frolic while it’s still photogenic! 🧡🌼
Level: Strenuous
Total Distance: 13 miles round-trip (loop)
Hiking Time: 6 hours
Elevation Change: 3000 feet
What to Bring: 3+ l water, food/snacks (for lunch break)
Official Trail Use: Dogs are not allowed on the trails we are using
Facilities: bathrooms at trailhead/parking lot

Parking fee: $5.

If you have prior medical condition or a family history of illnesses pertaining to heart, lungs, brain, etc. that can be aggravated by heat and physical exertion, this is not the hike for you.
