Summary:
One of Mount Tamalpais’s most compelling assets is its broad variety of possible hikes This entire loop is a tour de force of the mountain’s magic: you’ll experience dense forests, aromatic chaparral, rushing creeks, waterfalls, and seasonal flower-dotted meadows.

Hiking Directions:

Start at Mountain Theater Parking Lot, and head South around the West side of the theater to a Junction (0.1 miles), take the left fork to enter Easy Grade Trail heading East->
Stay to the left passing a trail on the right at 105 ft, follow the trail as it turns South at 134 ft, turning left at 100 ft on to Boot Jack trail ->
Boot Jack Trail to Stagecoach Fire Road (0.5 miles)->
Stagecoach Fire Road (0.2 miles) turn right on to Matt-Davis ->
Matt-Davis staying to the right of the Panoramic Highway (0.4 miles) ->
Cross the Highway to enter the Pantoll Ranger Station Restrooms (275 ft)->
Go behind the restrooms to enter the Tcc Trail for 130 ft, take the left fork, after (0.3 miles) take the Tcc Trail right fork, to arrive at Dipsea Trail (0.4 miles ->

Cross Dipsea Trail and the Panoramic Hwy (202 ft), and Apline Trail on your right to continue on Boot Jack Trail to the left (0.2 miles), passing Troup 80 Spur on your left, and crossing the Tcc Trail (503 ft) to stay on the Boot Jack Trail->
Stay on the Boot Jack Trail to arrive at Camp Eastwood Trail (1.2 mi)->
Stay to the right on Camp Eastwood Trail to enter Fern Creek Trail (0.2 miles)->
Stay on Fern Creek Trail (284 ft) to meet the eastern branch of the Fern Creek Trail->
Stay on Fern Creek Trail following the Redwood Creek to the Muir Park Store (0.7 mi)

Head back up, taking the right branch of Fern Creek Trail staying to the right of Redwood Creek (0.1 miles) to Ocean View Trail ->
Ocean View Trail to Lost Trail (1.2 miles) , turning right to stay on Ocean View Trail (0.3 miles) to arrive at Panoramic Trail ->
Turn left (North) to stay on Ocean View Trail (0.3 miles) where the trail ends and becomes Alice Eastwood Road ->
Continue North on the dirt Alice Eastwood Road (0.2 miles) to turn right take the short trail towards the highway (103 ft), turn North along the highway for 68 ft to cross over the highway to the other side to take the road North of the Throckmorton Fire Station (28ft) ->
Take the road North for 164 ft, to turn left onto Hogback Fire Road ->
Take Hogback Fire Road to turn left on to Matt-Davis Trail (0.3 miles) passing Hoo-Koo E. Koo Trail on the right (0.4 miles), and Nora Trail on the right (0.6 miles), to arrive back at Boot Jack Creek Trail (1.3 miles) ->
Turn right (North) to take Boot Jack Trail back to the start point (0.9 miles)
