Coastal Hike @ Point Reyes (Bear Valley); 12 mi. Moderate

Join us for a hike at Point Reyes, one of the most beautiful places to hike in the Bay Area! We can experience the beauty of both worlds, the woods and the coast.

This hike is more long than it is difficult. Though approx. 12 miles in length, only the first 2mi have incline, with the rest being a smooth descent towards the coastline and down Bear Valley Trail back towards the parking lot. Speaking of parking, lot is big so not an issue. There is cell service in the lot, but after that, it's hit or miss. The route is below. Intention is for the group to do it counter clockwise. If you're late, do the route clockwise and we will intersect by the Coast Trail.

Meet at: Bear Valley Visitor Center; large parking lot, so finding a space won't be an issue.

What to bring: 1-2 liters of water, sun screen, good hiking shoes and a hat.
