What we’re about
Ready to flex your mental muscles? Join us for monthly trivia nights at various locations in and around SLO. Whether you're a history buff, a pop culture whiz, or just have a noggin full of random knowledge, we need you on the team!
We’ll gather once or twice a month at spots like the Oak and Otter Brewing Co. or Bang the Drum Brewery. Suggestions for other venues are always welcome!
No experience needed, just bring your brainpower and a sense of fun. We'll reserve a table before each trivia night, so all you need to do is show up.
Cheers to good drinks, great company, and fun trivia!
How Trivia Works:
In bar trivia, teams of 2-8 players compete to answer the most questions correctly. Trivia games are typically divided into multiple rounds (for example, 4 rounds of 10 questions each).
Each round focuses on different topics, like history, movies, or music. After the quizmaster asks a question, we decide as a team on the best answer and write it down on the sheet provided (we will appoint a person to write down answers to make things easier).
After each round, we exchange our answer sheet with another team or give it to the quizmaster for scoring. The team that racks up the most points at the end of the game wins. Some bars/trivia masters offer prizes like gift cards as an additional incentive.
That’s it—simple process, tons of fun!

See all- This Is...Jeopardy! (The Bar Trivia Edition)Eureka Burger, San Luis Obispo, CA
I'm beyond excited to announce the official, bar trivia edition of Jeopardy is coming to Eureka in SLO! Join us for the inaugural game on August 24th.
It plays very much like the TV show. All the game elements are there: 3 full rounds, Daily Doubles, Final Jeopardy, etc. The differences are:
- Play on teams of up to 6 players
- Answer on your phone (not on stage)
- All teams get to answer each question- not just the team that buzzed in first
- Unlimited number of teams
- Host is an Eureka employee, not Alex Trebek or Ken Jennings 😉
If you played the bootleg Jeopardy at Humdinger, forget everything you know. This is totally different!
I recently played Jeopardy Bar League in Chicago. It was one the highlights of my trip! Here's a few pictures of the night.
I personally lobbied Eureka management to bring the game to SLO. Now you can be the first to experience Jeopardy Bar League on the Central Coast. Join us!
