What we’re about
We are a group of tiny house enthusiasts who are interested in living in and/or building a tiny house (400 square feet or less), and down-sizing our lives. Our reasons are varied – living simply, less expensive, living lighter on the earth with a smaller carbon footprint, able to move easily (especially if the tiny house is on wheels), more time and freedom, not necessary have to own our own land, etc. We meet to connect to others that have similar dreams and visions to ours. Meetings will vary as to time and place, and quite often will include visiting local tiny houses, and/or helping each other plan and design, build, and/or problem solve. We are inclusive, tolerant, and open-minded – since tiny houses, like their owners, tend to be all shapes, sizes, colors, and price.
The photo that I used for the group logo is a photo I took of the Bayside Bungalow in Olympia, Washington. It is used here with the owner's permission.

See all- SLO County Tiny House Enthusiasts Group – August 28th at 6:30 PM3621 Sacramento Dr, San Luis Obispo, CA
The San Luis Obispo Tiny House Group will be meeting on Thursday, August 28th at 6:30 PM. We will be meeting at the workshop for Central Coast Tiny Homes at 3621 Sacramento Drive, Unit #3 in the city of San Luis Obispo.
We will be talking about organizing an effort to get moveable tiny houses legal in the unincorporated areas of SLO County - since County personnel have changed, which may give us the opportunity to get the County ordinances changed. (Tiny houses on wheels are now legal as ADUs in the Cities of SLO and Arroyo Grande, but not in the County.)
Come join us and help get moveable tiny houses legal!
The Central Coast Tiny Homes team have completed their newest creation, and we will be able to tour it before it goes out for delivery. Their unique “pop-out” patented design creates a single-level wide floor plan with no lofts or ladders, while still (relatively) easily transportable. Come view their latest tiny home before it leaves the shop.
The tiny house in the photo was one that they built, and it is now available for nightly rental in Corbett Canyon! For more information on renting it, and about Central Coast Tiny Homes in general, go to their website at: https://cctinyhomes.com/
Everyone needs to bring a chair to sit on, if you want to sit, since none will be provided.
