Hazard Peak Hike (~6 miles)
Details
Let’s hike Hazard Peak - we will hike about 6-7 miles, not the whole 12. We will walk the long grade up to the top, enjoy the views, have a snack, and then walk down.
It’s about a 900ft elevation gain, but a long gradual slope rather than straight up. The AllTrails link can give you more info.
The parking area is just across from the trailhead on Pecho Valley Road. I drive an orange car so am easy to find. We can set up carpooling if anyone wants to.
There is little shade on this trail so sunscreen, hat, and water are recommended. Bring a snack to refuel yourself at the top.
