Conquer Public Speaking @ Toastmasters Club 83

Hello! The SLO Toastmasters Club 83 Meetup group is back in action and is calling all those interested in improving their public speaking skills. Please join us as we are back to IN PERSON with hybrid meetings. We are doing hybrid meetings every other week so please inquire about the status of the meeting for the week if interested.

*This Meetup group is intended for visiting guests. Actual club attendance is around 10-15 members a week.

Yes, we really do meet at 6:30 AM. It's not so bad if you think about it. While most people haven't hit snooze on their alarms, you are dressed, hopefully fed, and conquering your public speaking skills. At 7:45 AM, the new energized YOU is ready to take charge of the day! This allows you to start your day with a splash, keep your lunch appointment, and enjoy a relaxing evening after work.

Club 83 is one of the first Toastmaster clubs to ever form and was established in 1955 right here in San Luis Obispo.

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. Our club is made up of diligent and caring people who meet once a week for about an hour.

Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluations.

Guests are welcome to attend for free. Just stop by to meet the participants and to observe a meeting.
