"The San Luis Obispo Flood Control and Water Conservation District invite you to participate in a Flood Zone 1/1A volunteer outreach event, in partnership with CivicSpark, on Saturday May 16th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
This event will be the perfect opportunity for residents to come out and learn more about the County's Arroyo Grande and Los Berros Creek flood protection maintenance activities, our local natural environment and protected species within our creeks & channels and connect our community through watershed goals and rainstorm preparedness.
This event is open for all ages, so please join our volunteer workday caring to our native plants out at the creek by signing up for the event utilizing the QR code on the flier.
We hope to meet you out on the levee. Enjoy soaking up the sun while giving back to our community one plant at a time!"
