Charcoal Gulch

This is a fairly simple 4.7 mile round trip path near Idaho City. It has a bit of an incline but not too bad and can be shady through the forest. It will be nice now that it’s cooling down.

The start of the traill is at an unmanned airport strip off Wall Street in Idaho City. We’ll meett by the bathrooms at the start of the trail. I’ve attached the directions as if you are coming from the Nampa area. Feel free to reach out it if you have questions!

From I-15 take the Gown exit toward Idaho City

Go 34 miles turn left on Montgomery st

.2 miles turn left on Wall Street

In .4 miles you’ll see the airportt landing strip with lots of parking
