May 2022 Grand Picnic Meetup

Hi, Gophers!

You are invited the Grand May 2022 Meetup that will take place in Bistro Švicarija in Tivoli, Ljubljana, on Monday, 16 May, at 17:30. The special thing about this meetup is that after a long time, we will meet in person which also means that there will be drinks and snacks and a plenty of opportunity to chat afterwards.

The event is organized by 4 different meetups joined uner the Ljubljana Tech community initiative - Go, Python, Vue.js and Backend meetup - and because of the large number of talks, the meetup will be split into frontend and backend tracks.

The Go talk will be a part of the backend track and will be presented by Miha Eleršič and Matic Žgur from Zemanta.

You've guessed it! Some very substantial changes have been introduced in Go lately and we plan to cover them from the design and usability point of view and all the way to the implementation and optimization.
