Sauntering Balboa Park in 2026

Let's keep walking Balboa Park. To avoid paying the outrageous parking fee, we'll meet at the lower Inspiration Point parking lot where your first three hours of parking are free. The lot is the one to your right with all the solar panels as you turn onto Presidents Way from Park Boulevard. Park in any of the 950 spots and use the parking kiosk to enter your license plate number and receive 3 free hours. (I've already done it and it's easy. No payment needed if you choose 3 hours.)

We'll gather at the corner of Park Boulevard and Presidents Way and walk from there. No planned route but expect to walk about 3 miles for about an hour.

As always, optional coffee and chat at the Craft Cafe by the Mingei Museum.
