Details

To get ready for the summer season of hiking and backpacking, I'm doing a relaxed pace endurance hike to the 3Ps including Link Hill. We start on Powderface Trail, then take Prairie Link, and then head back along Prairie Creek Trail. It is a nice spring hike and usually has lots of wildflowers. To add some extra distance, elevation, and off-trail fun, in the middle of the Prairie Link Trail we'll go up to Link Hill and have lunch at the top. Link Hill is a several km, steep, off trail addition. The entire trip should be about 17km.

We may add Vents Ridge, if there is interest.

We'll hike at a relaxed pace for most of the trail, but slow up the steep section to Link Hill. It is essential that we stay together as a group, no running ahead or lagging behind, because it's easy to get lost.

No dogs, no children, no guests.

Due to the distance, elevation, and route finding, I will take a maximum of 8 participants.

We will be out for the day, please pack for all weather conditions. Bring a hearty lunch, several quick snacks, and extra water.
