Bike the Highwood Pass

Details
The Highwood Pass is the highest point on a public highway in Canada. Highway 40 opens on June 20 but access is closed from June 1-20 for the G7. With warm weather forecast next week we should have a great opportunity to bike Hwy 40 to the Highwood pass without any cars on the road.
The ride is only 17km each way but includes 600 meters of elevation gain so be prepared for a challenging ride in and a fast ride out. We'll take a break for lunch at the Pocaterra parking lot.
