Valencia attracts people from all over the world—but real connection doesn’t happen by accident.
Slow Connections is a community for digital nomads, travelers, and globally curious locals who value meaningful conversations, genuine friendships, and long-term relationships—both personal and professional.
We host monthly evening meetups (3rd Thursday Monthly) centered around relaxed drinks and very short, friendly intros so everyone has a chance to be seen and heard. The goal is simple: make it easy to meet thoughtful people in a calm, international environment without the loud party vibe or forced networking.
Our paid events are intentionally limited to create a focused, high-trust environment for deeper conversations and long-term connections. That's what Slow-mading (or is it spelled slomad?) is all about. And our venue partner super appreciates one big tab instead of 25+ small tabs, so thank you in advance!
Format:
• Casual arrivals and drinks
• ~30-second intros (optional but encouraged)
• A guided seat switch so you meet someone new
Community norms:
• Intros are welcome; pitching is not
• Wait to share your business card until someone asks
