Get Ready: Food Funded is coming to the East Coast!

Our Theme: Boosting access to capital for BIPOC and under-represented entrepreneurs.

The event will include an inspiring keynote; practical panel discussions; an entrepreneur showcase (pitch event) and plenty of opportunities to meet, mingle and build community together.

The highlight of the day will be the Entrepreneur Showcase. Food Funded East will feature a broad range of businesses in the local food sector as well as a variety of funding options. High-growth companies raising equity are welcome, but so are smaller businesses looking for crowdfunding or revenue-based and debt financing.

Food Funded New York will showcase a range of food businesses, from farms to restaurants to CPG. Specifically, we want this showcase to be as diverse as the entire NYC foodshed – rich in its presentation of people, culture, and products that make our region unique and compelling.

Who Should come:

• Food and farm business owners and entrepreneurs - We welcome businesses at all stages, across all parts of the food chain.
• Impact Investors - Seed stage angel investors committed to investing in building a diverse, healthy and sustainable food system.
• Ecosystem builders and connectors - Experts from across business, food policy and food systems who value connection and are eager to contribute
