Join the Slow Specialty Coffee Group, a space dedicated to exploring extraction methods, tasting exotic beans, and building a vibrant, high-caliber coffee community right here in Los Cabos.

This is a relaxed, informal, and open-minded group—we are not purists! We're looking for culturally astute individuals who want to experiment, play, and share stories over a fantastic cup of coffee. Leave your prejudices and bad vibes at the door.

  • Hands-On Learning: Gain practical experience using a wide variety of coffee gear. We have a collection of more than 20 different extraction methods (like the Flair, Phin, Mizudashi, RapidBrewer, Hoop, V60, Chemex, Aeropress, Syphon, etc.) and over 20 distinct beans from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
  • Deep Dive: We don't just brew; we analyze. We even have a microscope to compare roast levels and grind sizes, turning our gatherings into fun, educational sessions.
  • Community Building: Our main goal is to connect coffee lovers, baristas, roasters, and newcomers. It's a place where we all learn from each other.
  • Exotic Bean Cooperation: We plan to pool resources to purchase truly rare and exotic coffees, like organic Kopi Luwak, for unique shared tasting experiences.
  • Field Trips: We'll organize visits to local roasters and other coffee shops to connect with the broader community of baristas across the municipality of Los Cabos.
