Friday 50: Antioch to Davis
Details
50 miles of mostly flat terrain and mostly paved. In order to start at 9 AM from the Antioch BART station, take the BART train at 8:10 AM from MacArthur. For example, take the 730 BART train from El Cerrito Plaza arriving at MacArthur at 7:41 to allow time to go downstairs and cross to the other side and back upstairs with your bike.
After the first 16 miles of writing, we will be in Rio Vista where food and supplies can be obtained, but it will be too early for lunch. So please plan to have food and water that can be consumed during the ensuing 35 miles of rural travel until we reached Davis.
Most likely we will take the 4:09 Capitol corridor train to return to the Bay Area.
