FRIDAY, APRIL 18 - NEW DATE!

The Cherry Trees are blooming now!
Let's not miss it!

Jackson Park has 160 cherry trees!
The Cheery Grove is outside of the Garden of the Phoenix, just south of MSI - that's out of my usual range, but the cherry trees are worth the trek!

NOTE: Friday looks good, but I will still check for rain.

Let's have a picnic! Bring your own bag lunch, and we can chill under a cloud of white and pink blossoms!

In the photos, you will see the stages of the cherry trees.
April 3, the trees were at Stage 2.
Today, April 15, they are at Stage 4/5.

To make it easier to find each other, we will meet at the north entrance of MSI, near the door of the main stairs.

You can take a train downtown and then get the #6 bus from State and Van Buren to MSI.
