Lakefront Walking South from Montrose Beach

It's summer - time for the Lakefront!

We will walk south from Wilson Ave. First we will explore Montrose Beach, with the bird sanctuary, dunes natural area, and observation points for views of downtown. Then we'll walk south to Irving Park or Addison. At 10:00 we'll rest for a bit. And then turn back north to the starting point.

Three buses stop at Wilson Ave and Marine Dr: #78, #81 and #146. It is a short walk east to the Wilson pedestrian underpass. East of Lake Shore Drive is the Montrose Beach Track & Field. We'll meet at the north corner of the track.

Don't forget a sun hat and water!
