Horner Park and Lunch on Lincoln Ave

Let's try again for a December Horner Park Slow Walk! The nature area along the Chicago River has several trail options so we can adjust to the weather conditions. It will be a winter wonderland!

NOTE: Starting a bit later, at 11:30.

We will meet at 11:30 am, at the Horner Park field house on Montrose. You can get there by the Montrose #78 or the Western #49.
Or from the Rockwell Brown Line stop, you can walk south on Rockwell to Montrose and cross the bridge to Horner Park.

For a change of pace, when we get to Irving Park Road we will walk east to Lincoln Ave. Then a brief stop at my ceramic studio, for those who couldn't make the holiday show in Saturday. Finally we'll find lunch in Lincoln Ave!

Afterwards, if you drive instead of taking the bus, I'll close the loop by walking with you on Montrose Ave back to the Horner Park Fieldhouse.
