FLOTSAM! River Circus on the Riverwalk

One last chance to see FLOTSAM! River Circus, performed on a raft! This time it's on the Riverwalk, downtown Chicago.
We will meet on the big steps between Clark St and LaSalle Ave, on the south side of the Chicago River. I don't know how crowded this will be, so I'll get there early, and will be wearing my bright blue sunhat!
I suggest bringing a bag lunch/dinner, and a jacket.
And, of course, public transit is your best bet!

Flotsam is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers who travel on a handmade raft, giving free performances in riverfront towns along the way

We are performing at the Riverwalk Theater downtown - between Clark and LaSalle. This is on the south side of the Chicago River, with the big steps going down to the water. Just look for the most unusual 'boat' on the water — that's us!

We've added this last show downtown because it is one of the best locations in the world, but it wasn't available for our other dates. This will be the end of our 2026 Tour

Our show is family-friendly, but intended for audiences of all ages. The performance starts at 6:00 pm and will be finished before 7:30. Come early for a good spot!

The show is free to attend, but we keep this project afloat through donations. We suggest $10–$25 per person. Cash is welcome, or you can Venmo us at @rivercircus. We are a 501c3 non-profit, and all donations are tax-deductible

If you are thinking about arriving by boat, please note that our show is much better viewed from shore — and we ask that no boats position themselves behind us during the performance.
