Lamentablemente, el 13 de abril falleció Mario Vargas Llosa. En honor a su contribución a la literatura, este mes leeremos el primer capítulo de su obra más exitosa y aclamada internacionalmente: La ciudad y los perros. Lee el capítulo antes de venir al grupo. Puede leerlo en español o en inglés. Nos reuniremos para hablar de las historias; aproximadamente 45 minutos en español y 45 minutos en inglés. Proporcionamos preguntas sobre la historia para guiar la conversación.

Nos encontremos en Gestalguinos (arriba). Hay que pagar la bebida y dar una donación de 3€ al grupo.

Sadly, on April 13th the Mario Vargas Llosa passed away. In honor of his contribution to literature, this month we will read the 1st chapter of his most successful and internationally acclaimed work The Time of the Hero by Mario Vargas Llosa. Read the chapter before you come to the group. You can read it in either Spanish or English. We will meet to talk about the stories; approximately 45 minutes in Spanish and 45 minutes in English. Discussion questions are provided to help guide the conversation.

We will meet at Gestalguinos (upstairs). You will be expected to pay for a drink at the event and give a 3€ donation to the group.
