What we're about

This Meetup group was created to increase exposure in our community. The Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC) hosts over 20 events per month in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. While we have just begun building our presence on Meetup, the SBAC has an established membership and this Meetup group does not reflect all that attend.

This is a group for anyone interested in Small Business Advocacy, professional networking, and savings for your business. Small Business Owners and those that service small businesses should join this Meetup to expand their professional networks and support the best small business advocacy group in Illinois. The SBAC has fought to give small businesses a voice locally, in Springfield, and in Washington, D.C. SBAC successes include: drafting legislation leading to intrastate equity crowdfunding and lowering LLC fees!

History

Mission Statement

The SBAC is a non-partisan, member driven organization that promotes the success of small business through political advocacy, support services, and educational programs.
