What we’re about

This Meetup group was created to increase exposure in our community.  The Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC) hosts monthly events in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.  While we have just begun building our presence on Meetup, the SBAC has an established membership and this Meetup group does not reflect all that attend.

This is a group for anyone interested in Small Business Advocacy, professional networking, and savings for your business.  Small Business Owners and those that service small businesses should join this Meetup to expand their professional networks and support the best small business advocacy group in Illinois.  The SBAC has fought to give small businesses a voice locally, in Springfield, and in Washington, D.C.   SBAC successes include: drafting legislation leading to intrastate equity crowdfunding and lowering LLC fees!

History
The Small Business Advocacy Council (SBAC) was established in 2010 and represents hundreds of businesses in the Chicagoland area and thousands of businesses including our coalition partners. The SBAC is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization.

Mission Statement
The SBAC is a non-partisan, member driven organization that promotes the success of small business through political advocacy, support services, and educational programs.

Membership Policies

The SBAC allows non-members to attend up to three events as a guest to see if the SBAC is a good fit for them before joining.  A SBAC membership is by organization, so all members of your organization can attend unlimited events when your organization joins the SBAC.  For all Membership Policies, click here.
