What we’re about
Our very first MeetUp is coming this April—so exciting! Until then, let's connect, get to know each other, and share ideas for fun activities we'd all love to experience together.
This group is designed with our smaller furry friends in mind, focusing on shorter hikes, relaxed playgroups, and leisurely adventures. Picture delightful walks along river trails, playful park meetups, sunny lake days in the summer, and even socializing at dog-friendly food cart lots.
While our primary focus is on small breeds (typically under 25 pounds, aligning with Bend's small dog parks' guidelines), our doors—and paws—are open to dogs of all sizes and breeds that enjoy a slower pace. You'll likely see some sweet senior dogs, gentle larger breeds, or pups with special needs joining in our adventures. If you have a medium-to-large dog that would be a great fit, please message me privately before your first meetup so we can chat about your pup's unique needs.
A little about me: I'm not a professional trail guide, trainer, or even a GPS whiz. I'm simply someone who adores their fur-family—including a senior chihuahua and a disabled pit-mix—and I'm excited to meet new friends (both human and canine!) while enjoying the beauty and fun that Central Oregon has to offer. My weekdays are often busy with my 9-5 job, so I'd also warmly welcome another moderator who can help expand our adventures during the workweek.
If this sounds like your kind of group, we'd love to have you join us!
