Barcelona and Catalan Countryside Food + Wine Trip: Nov. 7–15, 2025

Join our small group of Long Island travelers for a unique 8-night food and wine experience across Barcelona and the Catalan countryside. I’m a professor who teaches courses abroad on food writing and literature, and I’m organizing this immersive trip for travelers who want to explore a place through food, wine, and hands-on gastronomic experiences.

Fri, Nov 7 – Arrive in Barcelona + Welcome Wine and Tapas at night
Sat, Nov 8 – Local Market Tour in AM and Bodega Crawl in the Evening
Sun, Nov 9 – Barcelona Iconic Sites and Highlights + Paella Cooking Class PM
Mon, Nov 10 – Transition to the Countryside for 2-day Immersive Farm-to-Table Experience: we'll cook using an 800-year-old wood fired stone oven!
Tues, Nov 11 – Farm-to-Table Experience Continued: more eating, cooking, hiking, foraging
Wed, Nov 12 – Olive Oil Farm Tasting Experience + Monastery at Montserrat
Thurs, Nov 13 – Penedès Wine Region exploration
Fri, Nov 14 – Penedès Wine Region Continued with Cava disgorging; return to Barcelona for Farewell Dinner
Sat, Nov 15 – Depart for USA (or extend your stay)
