About us

Welcome to the Small Trees Big Hearts Bonsai Club. We started this group as a way to bring together people who are interested in the art of bonsai but might feel overwhelmed by where to start. Whether you have picked up your first nursery tree or are just curious about the craft, our goal is to provide a relaxed environment where we can learn the basics, troubleshoot our projects, and appreciate the patience that this hobby requires.

Our gatherings are informal and centered around hands-on practice and shared knowledge. We meet to discuss techniques like pruning, wiring, and soil selection, but mostly we just enjoy the company of others who appreciate the quiet focus of working with miniature trees. You do not need any expensive equipment or prior experience to join us; just bring whatever tree you are currently working on and an open mind. We look forward to meeting you and growing our collection of trees and friendships together.
