This event will be all about the world of autonomous vehicles. We have a impressive line up of speakers for this event covering different topics within AV.
We are really excited to announce our three exceptional speakers who will be delivering technical presentations in different areas of Autonomous Vehicles. Please see below the line up:
Leopoldo Rodriguez - Motion Planning and Control Line Manager - Jaguar Land Rover
Leopoldo is a professional with experience in robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles and autonomous driving. He is an expert in motion planning and path planning with various years of experience in software development for safety critical applications. He will be giving a presentation on the challenges of simulation-based testing for autonomous driving.
Tristian Bacon - Research Associate - Zenzic Ltd
Tristan Bacon is a Research Associate at Zenzic having joined in 2019. He has a MEng in General Engineering, Electronics, from Durham University, where he undertook a research project in connected vehicle communication technologies. Since joining Zenzic, Tristan has worked on multiple technical projects, with a primary focus on roadmapping the UK’s development and deployment of Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM).
Zenzic is unifying UK industry, government and academia towards the at-scale deployment of CAM in the UK. In October 2020, Zenzic released the “UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030: CAM Creators Update”, an update to the original 2019 release, that showcases the organisations that are creating the future of UK CAM, and the progress the UK is making against the Roadmap’s 2030 Vision. Tristan, the technical lead on the update, will be delivering a talk on the importance of collaboration and consensus in the development and deployment of CAM and the key role the Roadmap plays in bringing together a diverse UK CAM ecosystem to focus towards successful at-scale deployment of these technologies.
Abdullah Al-Zibdeh - Account Manager - NI Ltd
NI (Previously National Instruments) is a global leader in automated test and measurement systems that help engineers solve the world's toughest challenges. Abdullah has a background in mechanical engineering and has been with NI for 4 years working in both the technical and sales team. Currently he focuses on helping engineers and researchers in data acquisition, test, and validation, and will be presenting on the Growth of Testing and Validation Challenges in Autonomous Vehicles.
