Robotics 2.0 - Smart in the City

Details
Following the huge success of our last event, where the subject matter focused on Robotics Technology, the interest & demand has shown that we have so much more to cover on this subject!
With this in mind, why not join us Thursday 23rd September 6.30pm for the next Smart in the City's Robotics event where Automata have very generously agreed to host the event at their prestigious London office in Angel.
As a reminder, I am delighted to confirm we have three incredible guest speakers for the evening who will be delivering a variety of insights/ technical presentations focused on innovation, application & development of robotic technology-they are:
Rowan Gifford, Embedded Tech Lead, Automata
Automata is a lab automation enabler working to change perceptions that robotic technology is expensive and complex with Eva, our low cost high functioning six-axis robotic arm. Our mission is to automate the lab, freeing scientists from tedious repetitive machine tending and enabling them to focus on important tasks such as drug discovery and pathology. We will be presenting the evolution of Eva and discussing the technical challenges of developing a safe collaborative robot for lab automation.
Dr. Yanwen Chen, Co-founder, Seyo Ltd.
Seyo focuses on logistics automation to solve the fragmentation of robotic solutions in the industry, which is the main obstacle towards adoption amongst SMEs. Our core technology enables heterogeneous fleets of robots to cooperate on complex tasks even when they lose access to a central network. By enabling automations across the logistics network, we create a more resilient, distributed and diverse backbone for the delivery of supplies.
Dr Jelizaveta Konstantinova, Senior Research Coordinator, Ocado Technology Ltd.
Ocado develop cutting-edge technology across robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science to enable the world’s most forward-thinking retailers to offer grocery online with the best customer experiences and unmatched economic returns.
Please arrive between 6-6:15pm, the presentations will start at 6:30pm and will include an open Q & A session, following which there will be a good opportunity to grab a drink/nibbles and network amongst the group.
The event will be held at Automata's office: 15-29 Windsor St, London N1 8QG
I really hope you can make it and we look forward to welcoming you :)
