10 years experiences in Smart City projects - Lessons learned

Details
Hey Smarties!
We’re happy to announce our second Smart City Munich Meetup. Two interesting speakers will share their experiences and insights regarding different customer needs, challenges in different industries and the development of Smart City projects over the last years.
#1 Talk
Shannon Macika - Consultant – Product Development and Communications from Bable
At BABLE, our team works to fill the gap between innovation and implementation, helping cities to gain the information, stakeholder access and support they need to drive smart city solutions. Shannon will share insights on how cities are leveraging innovative partnerships and models to overcome their most pressing challenges, including specific examples from BABLE’s project portfolio. She will also reflect on changes we have seen or expect to see as a result of COVID-19 and the way forward for future smart city implementations.
#2 Talk
Steffen Schaefer - Smart Cities / New Mobility / Industrial IoT Expert Advisor from Digital-Steffen
Steffen Schaefer has been working for more than 10 years in large technology companies, startups, and a government agency on digital solutions and platforms for Smart Cities. He will share lessons learned primarily in the mobility space - incl. autonomous shuttles, MaaS, air quality prediction, and other solutions. He will also critically reflect on what has been achieved and why progress might fall behind expectations.
