SCULPTURE CLUB- Sculpting from life model -Emma

Join us immersive art course sculpting a clay sketch which can be fired . We will be working and sculpting directly from an amazing and inspiring life model and then learn how to prep it for firing it to take home. This is a special experience, there are very few places you can work directly from a life model. Its suitable for anyone over 18. Beginners are welcome but it is not tutored-just a little coaching available and the digging out process is taught as a free separate session. Its a short course just designed for a small sculpture sketch with no or a basic armature

What it involves: 4 mornings directly sculpting in a sculptors studio followed by an optional long session/day of digging out, This technique that preps a piece for firing. Once learnt- this technique can be used again and again making sculpted pieces. So whether you are a seasoned artist or beginner this event is the perfect opportunity to delve into the world of fine art clay modelling and unleash your creativity.

In this series, i will be sculpting alongside but happy to do it bit of coaching
Dates: Thursdays August 7, 14, 21, and 28th
Includes : additional free digging out day to prep the piece for firing in an extra long session -booked later
Cost £140 for the course including clay, baseboard and lend of tools etc and digging out
Reduced cost of £100 for the Sculpture club members who have experience and bring their own stuff

The full price includes everything you need. A bag of clay, cloths, baseboard and armature.Everything that's required to look after the clay during the course. Firing fee is extra - but not a lot.
