This first Hackathon focuses on a hot topic that was submitted during Ideafest and ranked highest in the safety category for POLLapalooza.

It's time to think out of the box and get creative addressing pedestrian fatalities! We can start finding new ways to eliminate traffic fatalities and injuries starting with pedestrians.

For this challenge, we're asking you to develop a web-based solution to improve the region's ability to identify, track, communicate and prioritize safety, especially as it pertains to pedestrians.
