Alella Green Tec projects day

Come visit Alella Green Tech ( 20 mins bus out of Bcn in beautiful Alella) where the agriculture R&D center is getting built. It's a great place to test long range communications with sensors, LoRA, MQTT etc. There are agriculture ponds, other resources and many automated devices to control. LOTS of data to be obtained.

You´ll get a short intro to the innovation center and the group and then we´ll kick things off finding you a project to join. Meetings will be hands on and your first meeting will tell you how it will all work.

A project using Arduino, a custom board and a Raspberry Pi will be high on the list. This is a Farm.bot Genesis XL - a cool farming robot. See farm.bot. You can join it too. It involves 3D printing, coding...and gardening. See out other projects in the group summary.

You can join in as your schedule allows. Any workday during business hours can work and sometimes we organize weekend events.

Due to COVID we only allow up to 4 people and keep everyone separate. Luckily the place has 8 hectares of farm land so you can be very very socially distanced! We do not spend any time inside.

There is no cost to the course. You are a volunteer - Alella Green Tech aims to be a foundation that helps the planet. Regular helpers get expenses paid. See you pronto!
