Improving Accessibility in Our Design Workflow

In this meetup, we’ll explore how we can approach accessibility across the company and integrate it more naturally into our design workflow.

Together, we’ll go through practical examples and accessibility checks in Figma to understand what to look out for when designing accessible experiences. We’ll discuss common issues, useful design principles, and ways to identify potential accessibility barriers early in the process.

We’ll also explore how tools like Figma Make and Claude can support us along the way — from reviewing ideas and challenging design decisions to helping us think through accessibility requirements.

A key focus will be on using AI as a sparring partner rather than just a tool: asking the right questions, getting a second perspective, and making accessibility a more continuous part of how we design.

The goal is to leave with practical ideas, examples, and workflows that can help us make accessibility part of our everyday design process across the company.
