The SMART Recovery 4-Point Program is science-based, abstinence-oriented, secular, free interactive group program. Facilitators are trained and most are program graduates.

There have been 28,000 SMART Recovery meetings in MA since 1990. There are 2,100 SMART Recovery meetings on 6 continents. The SMART Recovery Handbook is available in 10 languages.
