Art Tour & Book Event-Devil in the White City

(Please read all instructions for this event) Welcome to a very special extended March Art Tour and Book Club Event: Devil in the White City by Erik Larsen!
Join the Smarty Pants Book Club as we explore a curated tour of the American artists who took center stage at the 1893 Columbian Exposition. Through selected works from VMFA American Collection, we’ll learn about their contributions to the Expo and the rising appreciation for American art at the turn of the century.

Join us at 10:20 AM for a tour that will begin promptly at 10:30 AM. We will meet at the main entrance of the museum by the large flower arrangement. Following the art tour, we will move to the VMFA Best Cafe for our book discussion at approximately 11:30. It is very important to update your RSVP if you are unable to attend the event as our art tour events tend to be very popular and we do not want to hold people on the waiting list.
