The City and Its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami

Join us in the Best Cafe at VMFA for our October event-Haruki Murakami’s The City and Its Uncertain Walls. The novel is a surreal exploration about love, memory, loneliness, and the boundary between reality and imagination. It follows a man searching for a mysterious girl who told him about a strange walled city, a place where people are separated from their shadows. But as the walls between the two worlds begin to fade, he must discover where he truly belongs. NPR Review
