Smerconish Mingle Meetup

### What to Expect

This is a casual, friendly get-together for people who enjoy thoughtful conversation inspired by The Michael Smerconish Show — current events, culture, politics, media, and the occasional curveball topic.
No lectures. No debates you “have to win.” Just respectful conversation, curiosity, and a chance to meet interesting people you may not otherwise meet in your usual circles.
We’ll have a semi-private area or private room, depending on the number of RSVPs. Ask the host for the "Walters Party."

## Informal Agenda

6:30–6:40 PM | Arrival & Casual Conversation
Arrive, grab a drink or food if you’d like, and settle in. We’ll keep things relaxed while people trickle in.
~6:40 PM | Welcome & Brief Opening Remarks
Once we have a few people, I’ll offer a quick welcome:

• Why we’re here
• What kind of conversations we’re aiming for
• A few simple ground rules (respectful, curious, no grandstanding)

6:45–7:30 PM | Small-Group Conversations
If we have enough attendees we’ll break into small groups of 3–4 people. I’ll provide optional conversation prompt cards for anyone who wants them — topics inspired by current events, media, or “Smerconish-style” questions. If you’d rather just talk organically, that’s perfectly fine too!
7:30–8:00 PM | Open Mingling / Continue Conversations
Groups can mix, conversations can continue, or people can wrap up as needed. We can stay longer than 8pm.

• Curiosity and respect for differing viewpoints

No preparation required. No pressure to speak if you’d rather listen.

## How to Find the Group

Once you arrive, ask the host staff for the "Walters Party" or "the Mingle Project group." I’ll be there early and happy to point you in the right direction.
