Please join us for our Smerconish Mingle Meetup, inspired by TV and Sirius Radio host, Michael Smerconish and The Mingle Project. It's time to put down our phones, remove our political jerseys, and engage in actual social interaction.
At Mingle Meetups, we welcome diversity of thought. This is where independent minds come together to express their own views on current events, politics, and hot topics. Through structured discussion and "Mingling," we break free from political polarization and gain a greater appreciation for one another in our community.
What to Expect:
*First 20 min, we settle in, order food, and or drinks, etc.
*Host will give a brief introduction to the group and allow new Minglers to introduce themselves, if they wish.
*Host will typically introduce (3) topics of discussion
(ranging from current events, politics, & hot topics).
*Minglers are called upon individually to freely express their views, without interruption or debate. If time allows, we will cover several topics.
*At approximately the half way point, we shut down the structured discussion and Mingle with our new friends.
Our Meetups are held at The Wooden Match, in Bethlehem, in their downstairs restaurant area. Attendees can order food and drinks from a diverse menu and will pay on separate checks.
