Inspired by Michael Smerconish’s The Mingle Project, this group will meet to discuss hot topics and news events with people from different backgrounds and points of view.

El Poquito, 8201 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA, US# The Mingle Meetup – Round Ten!
Thursday, August 20 | 5:30–7:30 p.m.
📍 El Poquito, Chestnut Hill
🍸 Happy Hour & Mingling: 5:30–6:00 p.m.
🗣️ Group Discussion Begins: 6:00 p.m.We're excited to gather again for our tenth Philly Mingle Meetup and continue building a community that has become more meaningful with each conversation.
What started as a small experiment has grown into a welcoming group of people connected by curiosity, respectful dialogue, and a genuine interest in engaging with different perspectives. Every meetup has introduced new voices, thoughtful conversations, and friendships that extend beyond a single evening. We're looking forward to continuing that momentum together. As always, the first half hour is reserved for casual mingling during happy hour—a chance to grab a drink, meet someone new, reconnect with familiar faces, and settle in before our group discussion begins at 6:00 p.m. Please note that attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages.
RSVPs remain simple and open. If you've responded through Meetup—whether you're marked as "going" or on the waitlist—you are welcome to attend. Meetup's RSVP limits won't prevent participation, so if you've added your name, we hope you'll join us.
Inspired by The Mingle Project, these gatherings are for people who value thoughtful conversation, respectful disagreement, and the opportunity to better understand one another. Come expecting good food, conversation, and discussions about the ideas, issues, and experiences shaping our communities and everyday lives.
Have a topic or question you'd like the group to explore? We'd love to hear your suggestions. Some of our best conversations have started with ideas from attendees.Whether this will be your first meetup or your tenth, we'd love to have you with us. Questions? Feel free to email joe.stanzione@gmail.com or send a message through Meetup.
Looking forward to another great evening together!
