March San Diego Mingle
Details
Our March San Diego Mingle continues the momentum from a strong kickoff event and builds on what worked: thoughtful pairing, timely topics, and genuine conversation across differences.
This meetup will focus on evolving immigration policies and enforcement, the role of social media in shaping public discourse, and local San Diego–specific issues and events. As always, our topic list will remain flexible and expand based on current events in the two weeks leading up to the meetup.
We’ll once again use our structured mingle format to intentionally pair participants with diverse viewpoints around engaging, sometimes challenging topics. Poll questions inspired by Smerconish’s SiriusXM and CNN discussions will be mixed in to spark conversation, encourage reflection, and help us better understand where — and why — we differ.
For this next meetup, we’re also aiming to broaden our perspectives by welcoming more Gen Z voices into the room. To support this, RSVPs are open to include guests outside the usual Meetup audience. If you know someone from Gen Z who would enjoy thoughtful discussion and civil debate, please feel free to include them in your RSVP.
Whether you joined us for the kickoff or this is your first Mingle, expect a mix of structured and unstructured conversation, respectful disagreement, and a space designed to explore ideas — not win arguments.
We’re excited to keep building this community with you.
