May Mingle Project Meetup!

Hello to all of our Minglers, I am so excited to announce a brand new location and date for our next gathering!

We will be meeting at 4 pm on Saturday, instead of 6 pm on Sunday. We will see how it goes and if everyone likes the change. Please feel free to bring a friend or family member (especially one you disagree with politically). Remember, our goal is to listen to opposing views and discuss politics to grow closer with our neighbors, no matter their side of the aisle.

If you are a Smerconish listener or watcher, I'm looking for a poll question with a nearly even split among voters. Let me know if you think one is a particularly good "talker". *Special thanks to Dennis for this idea!*

Lastly, we will be trying out a new format to help aid the flow of discussion. I will begin each meetup with welcomes and brief intros and catch up with existing members. Then I'll have a couple of topics to discuss, so if you have something you think is a hot topic, let me know. Approximately 5 minutes before the end of our 2 hours, I'll pause discussion to invite people to stay and continue chatting, or say goodbye to those that need to leave.

I can't wait to see you all there. In the meantime, have a great Mother's Day and end of school year for those of us with kiddos at home.
