Volleyball - Advanced Beginners (B) - Bluemont Park

Come play some volleyball! If you’ve already learned the basics, this is for you!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (click here for details).

Skill Level Note: The game level might be slightly below a solid B, as this event is beginner‑friendly. We welcome beginners who are willing to listen, learn and try to improve by always playing three passes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’ll start with mixed games to warm up
and get everyone moving. Then we’ll split into two groups:

A. Rally Group(you are able to reliably receive/set. Have good ball control and a consistent serve.

B. Fundamentals Group(can set and receive sometimes, but could benefit from drills to improve ball contro

We’ll end with a some final mixed games so we all get to play together again. The goal is to keep things fun, supportive, and give everyone a chance to play, improve, and enjoy themselves.

ATTENTION

1. This is NOT first-come, first-serve. Invites will be sent out to balance skill levels. Priority is also given to those with good attendance who have demonstrated a positive attitude and good sportsmanship.
2. Attendance: Make sure your name is on the Going list if you plan to play. If your name is on the list but you don’t show up, it will count as an absence according to Smiley Social rules. Please update your RSVP at least 12 hours in advance if your plans change.
3. Injuries: Play safely and be mindful of others on the court. Respect positions and avoid risky moves that could lead to injury.
